I am a self-taught artist who moved to the Kankakee Riverside District three years ago upon retirement from a 41-year career in education that spanned pre-kindergarten to college positions.  Since then I have experimented with a wide variety of mediums including collage, pen, pencil, acrylic, watercolor and alcohol ink.  I work part-time at Union Street Gallery in Chicago Heights, where I am a member of  16 studio artist collaborative which has provided an endless opportunity to study and observe artistic work.  AREA 52 uncensored Art Studio & Shop held its opening reception October 12, 2019 at Union Street Gallery, 1527 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights, IL, 60411.
